DINING – Some Tips for North Beach Village and Fort Lauderdale

Walk down the block from your Royal Palms Hotel room and you’ll find exceptional restaurants and cafes for every taste and lifestyle! Awaiting you are wonderful family and romantic restaurants, quick stops, and posh beachside eateries.

Before venturing far from Royal Palms Hotel, tantalize your taste buds at North Beach Village’s Plaza Bistro and enjoy sea breezes while dining on scrumptious culinary creations and listening to live dinner music.

Keep in mind that seafood is superb and fresh most everywhere because many are caught off the bountiful and clean Atlantic waters off of Fort Lauderdale’s coastline. Grouper, Snapper, Stone Crab claws and Swordfish are excellent, but many others will be available, as well, depending on the catch of the day. If you like seafood, always ask for fresh and locally caught fish and you’ll have a whole new understanding and meaning for the word “fresh.”

You’ll find there are plenty of Fort Lauderdale restaurants that serve good ole’ Americana fare, too, like juicy steaks and pork chops, and Italian and Chinese food.

And yet if fireworks is what you’re after, there are many Fort Lauderdale Beach restaurants that offer attention-grabbing flavors, intense fusions and styles. You’ll find ingenious adaptations reflecting Caribbean and Southern nuances, European and Asian flairs, Latin American zest and Southwestern spices.

Nearby, the Galleria Mall has restaurants and a food court but for the more cultural and scenic areas, visit Las Olas Boulevard where Fort Lauderdale first took root.

Of course, Royal Palms has barbeques and kitchen facilities so when you’re ready to eat a home cooked meal or a grab a fast bite, prepare with groceries and supplies from nearby Publix Supermarket just around the corner.
